Cannabis Social Club in Hildesheim — what BlattWerk e.V. offers

Since 1 April 2024, cannabis cultivation in clubs has been legal in Germany — regulated by the Cannabis Act (KCanG). Since then, Cannabis Social Clubs (CSCs) have been forming across the country. BlattWerk e.V. is the first licensed CSC in Hildesheim.

Hildesheim as a deliberate choice

We are all from Hildesheim or the immediate surrounding area. The idea was clear from the start: we are founding a club for the people here — not somewhere abstract, but in our city. Hildesheim has a lively club culture, a young population and an administration that approached the topic openly.

What BlattWerk offers

As a licensed cultivation association under the KCanG, we offer our members:

- Legal cannabis access directly from our own cultivation, without middlemen - Tested quality — every harvest is analysed for purity and cannabinoid content - Transparency about origin, growing method and ingredients - Co-determination on strain selection and club development - Prevention services and honest education about cannabis and risks

Who can join BlattWerk

Any adult registered in Germany can become a member — regardless of whether they live in Hildesheim or come from the surrounding area (Hanover, Alfeld, Peine, Salzgitter, Hameln). The KCanG allows membership in one club regardless of place of residence, as long as you are registered in Germany.

Cultivation licence since March 2026

The official cultivation permit was granted to us on 18 March 2026. This makes us one of the few licensed cultivation associations in Lower Saxony. Preparations for our first grow are currently underway.
