Growing update June 2026 — premises secured, permit applied for

We can turn another page: preparations for our growing start are in full swing — and we want to keep you up to date.

Premises secured

After a long search, we have found and secured suitable premises for our cultivation. The location, size and structural conditions match our growing concept. This was one of the most demanding steps in the entire process — and it is done.

Growing concept finalised

In parallel with the search for premises, we have worked out our growing concept: how will lighting, ventilation and irrigation be set up? What harvest and drying infrastructure do we need? All of this is tailored to our membership numbers and required quantities, and is ready on paper. We will order the actual equipment once the permit is in place — which makes more sense organisationally and financially.

Change-of-use application submitted

The next formal step has been taken: we have submitted an application to the City of Hildesheim for a change of use for the premises. This is a standard procedure that we already accounted for when looking for suitable premises. The ball is now in the authority's court.

What comes next

Once the permit is granted, we will order the equipment and begin fitting out the premises. After that comes the installation of the growing infrastructure — and then finally the growing start.
